Lake Size: 3,280 acres

Facilities: 3 Boatramps (no fee required, open all year, managed by US Army Corps of Engineers), fishing dock

  • Dairy Hill Boatramp - East shore, south of Peoria bridge
  • Old School Ramp - West shore off FM 933
  • Hackberry Creek Access Area - Eastern branch, North shore. End of County Road 2428
  • Tailrace Area - below the dam off Highway 310, Fishing pier, no boat ramp

Max Depth: 59 1/2 feet

Completed: 1983

Fishing: The arms of the lake have substantial standing timber and brush. The fishing is pretty good and the pressure is light. Largemouth bass, crappie, white bass, catfish and sunfish.
